Shirley was a cherished member of the Saint Stephens AME Church in Fairfield, California, where she dedicated herself to serving as a missionary, Sunday school teacher, and church treasurer. In her youth, Shirley graduated from Geeeter High School in 1958 and went on to pursue further education at Santa Clarita College in Santa Clara, California. Throughout her life, Shirley touched the hearts of many with her unwavering commitment to charity and her active involvement in church activities. Her kindness and compassion knew no bounds, as she selflessly dedicated her time to helping and uplifting those around her. Shirley is survived by her loving family, including her daughters Silverlene Davis and Shelia Hamilton, sons Marino Bates and Donnie Moore, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who adored her dearly. She was predeceased by her parents, siblings, and other cherished family members who will always hold a special place in her memory. Beyond her family, Shirley leaves behind a legacy of generosity and kindness that will be remembered by many. Her impact extended not only to her immediate loved ones but also to the broader community, where she supported various charitable organizations and endeavored to make a positive difference in the world. A service to honor Shirley's life will be held at The Vault Event Suisun Marina Suisun City 700 Friends and family can pay their respects and celebrate her remarkable journey. Gregory was a devout member of the New Home Baptist Church, where he found solace and spiritual guidance. His faith played a significant role in shaping his compassionate nature, and he actively participated in various church activities. Former NFL wide receiver Devon Wylie has died at the age of 35, his family confirmed on social media on November 13th, 2023. He was born on September 2, 1988, in Sacramento, California, United States. He grew up playing football at California State University, Fresno, before being selected by the Chiefs in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He played in six regular-season games for the Kansas City team before they released him the following year. He went on to complete short stints with several other teams, including the Seattle Seahawks, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Atlanta Falcons. After leaving the NFL, Wylie continued to play football in Canada and pursued a music career in San Diego. He was a beloved member of the San Diego music community, and his death has been met with an outpouring of grief. Wylie will be remembered as a talented athlete and a kind and compassionate person. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
