John Hines, 87, of Gillette, Wyoming, passed away on Friday, January 26th, 2024, at Primrose Retirement Community. He was born on March 3rd, 1936, to John Dwight and Annie Mary (McKenzie) Hines. He spent his childhood among the red shale hills around Oriva. After his father's passing when he was 16, John helped his mother on the ranch.
