Prominent American journalist and news anchor - Donna Gregory took her last breath at 61. Ms. Gregory was well-known for her extensive career in television news. She was particularly known for her work at WWAY in Wilmington and WRAL in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she worked as a co-host and anchor. Gregory tragically passed away at the age of 61. She was born in the U.S. and grew up in Atlanta, having a passion for journalism and storytelling. Donna got her college degree at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in TV/Radio and theatre. After that, she soon started her career in journalism from local news, serving as a news anchor reporter at KFOR-TV in Oklahoma City and WMBD-TV in Peoria. Gregory worked as a weekday news anchor for WRAL from 1988 to 1996. During her time there, she became a popular figure in local news broadcasting, anchoring the newscasts from 5:30 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. Throughout her career, she earned herself multiple accolades for her contributions to journalism. She was known not only for her reporting skills but also for her mentorship of aspiring journalists. She was able to connect with her audiences in a couple of minutes, and this ability of hers was what made her a beloved figure in the Wilmington community.

Paul Teal

Renowned for his mind-blowing appearances in “Deep Water” and “One Tree Hill,” Paul Teal has passed on. Paul Joseph Teal drew his last breath on Friday, November 15, 2024, at the age of 35. The reason behind his demise was cancer. The late actor was a Native of Wilmington, North Carolina, and an astonishing theater actor. He completed his studies at the William Esper Acting Studio. Teal has served innumerable local stages with his creative performances and astounding talent, leaving an unforgettable mark on the entire theater community. He was immensely loved by his fans, colleagues, and friends alike. Known affectionately as “JoJo,” he was known for his undeniable dedication to his work and for showing pure charisma in his performances. Later, he transitioned to television, having a memorable role, playing “Josh,” a sleazy movie star for One Tree Hill. He played this character for seven episodes. He worked along with director Emma Lenz on a production of “The Notebook.” Emma also cast him for the role and recalled his mastery of it. Paul’s other roles include; “Dynasty,” “The Walking Dead: World Beyond,” “Psychodrama,” “Good Behavior,” “American Rust,” “USS Christmas,” “Outer Banks,” and a lot more.

Nicholas Pryor

The famous Hollywood star Nicholas Pryor passed away on the 7th of October 2024 while battling cancer. Nicholas Pryor was born on the 28th of January 1935 in Baltimore. His father, Stanley, served in the pharmaceutical industry. He earned his degree from Yale University and performed with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival and the Drummond Players, among other theaters and groups. Probst, who adopted his Pryor stage name in the late ‘50s, has also served in numerous Broadway plays. We are sad to announce that he passed away at the age of 89. The Hollywood actor, widely known for his performance in several TV series, stage productions, and films, has embraced death. He has been combatting cancer for a long time now. Pryor is known for his on-screen projects, including “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier,” “Halloween Kills,” “The Outsider,” “A Summer’s Day,” “Doctor Sleep,” “Cosmic Kiosk,” “Buster’s Mal Heart,” “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1,”, “Nashville,” “Constantine,” and “Hart of Dixie.” It is fitting to mention that Nicholas last appeared as “Morgue Doctor” in 2021’s film Halloween Kills. He is survived by his loving wife, Christina Belford; his daughter, Stacey Pryor; and his grandchildren, Avril Bas and Auguste.
