The "Kill Bill" star, Michael Madsen, passed away at the age of 67. The reason for this untimely demise is reported to be a cardiac arrest, as he was found unresponsive by authorities in his home. Being a prolific actor that he was, Madsen was best known for his roles in the Quentin Tarantino movies, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Reservoir Dogs, The Hateful Eight, and Kill Bill. During a career spanning four decades, he also aced a bunch of TV roles. Both in the films and in the TV roles, he usually effortlessly portrayed the roles of lawbreakers, such as the hitman in the Kill Bill franchise, as well as law enforcers, including detectives and sheriffs. Recently, he lent his voice to video games, including the Dishonored series and Grand Theft Auto III, among others. Born on September 25, 1957, in Chicago, Michael Madsen's father was a Navy veteran of World War II, and his mother was a notable filmmaker. He was a loving brother to Virginia Madsen, who is popular for several movies, including Sideways, for which she got nominated for a Golden Globe and an Oscar. Michael is survived by his four children, including actor Christian Madsen.
