Obituary for Madia Nicole Boykin Madia Nicole Boykin, born on December 8, 1983, in Chicago, Illinois, to Jennifer Boykin and Curtis Caston, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of October 6, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with leukemia. Madia grew up with a heart full of creativity, compassion, and determination. After moving to Little Rock, Arkansas, she pursued her lifelong dream of becoming a makeup artist and eventually opened her own beauty shop — a space where she not only shared her talent but also her warmth, laughter, and uplifting spirit with everyone who walked through her doors. A proud graduate of Arkansas State University, Madia earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business, a testament to her drive and dedication. Her passion for beauty and entrepreneurship touched many lives and inspired those around her to chase their own dreams with the same grace and confidence she carried every day. Madia was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose radiant smile and kind heart will never be forgotten. Though she faced leukemia with unimaginable strength—defeating the illness not once, but twice—she continued to live her life with courage, joy, and faith. She now joins her beloved mother, Jennifer Boykin, and grandmother, Marie, in eternal rest. Madia leaves behind her father, Curtis Caston; her brothers Mario, Michael, James, and Eric; her sisters Janice, Patrice, and Jamila; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who will cherish her memory forever. Madia’s light will continue to shine in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her laughter, creativity, and love will remain a guiding force for all she touched. She will be deeply loved and truly missed. Honoring her wishes, Madia will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at the North Little Rock Community Center, located at 2700 Willow St, North Little Rock, AR 72114, on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate the beautiful life of Madia Nicole Boykin — a woman whose strength, love, and legacy will live on forever.
