He was the beloved son of Kenneth and the late Bernice Thompson. After his noble service in the Army, Dwayne dedicated his professional life to the Veterans Affairs Hospital. An avid nature enthusiast, he enjoyed spending his leisure time on rejuvenating walks by the River Banks and Dam Area. Dwayne is survived by his children Tracy Jenkins, Carmen Thompson, Cierra Thompson, Brianna Thompson, Kacy Johnson-Thompson, Nathaniel Thompson, and Samuel Thompson, all residing in Little Rock, Arkansas and Texas. His spouse, Tiffany Johnson, from Crowley, Texas, also mourns his loss. Dwayne Carlos Thompson will be remembered for his smile and laughter, his dedicated service to the country, and his appreciation for the natural world. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. Memorial service will take place on 01/15/2024 where family and friends will come together to honor and celebrate the life of Dwayne Carlos Thompson.
